DEFINITION: Excessive worry that overpower us mentally and physically.
WHY: Because we don’t know what is going to happen or when we feel threatened.
THE REAL CAUSE: Our tolerance level about uncertainty is very low. Our body is taking the FLIGHT response on a stress situation.
SHOCK HORROR: If you were to think honestly, how many ACTUAL problems you have, you would find there aren’t as many. Your worries are mostly “What if” thoughts.
CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE: sometimes fears are unfounded and stop you from reaching happiness, which is at the other side of fear.
ACCEPT IT: It is reasonable to feel anxiety, it’s a human response. If you are angry, threatened, analyse the problem and find a solution.
DANGEROUS soul damaging WEAPON YOU MUST AVOID: The words you say to yourself. You should not forget what you love, and what you are dreaming of.
How to improve it:
Start to tolerate not knowing what is going to happen.
Meditate to break down all your fears.
Find activities where you feel included, things that make you happy.
Confront the fears, rationalise them and see that they are just “visitors that you must allow to go”.
Get yourself medical help if needed be. Focus your attention on other things you are dying to do.
We are able to fix our issues ourselves in most cases, if we put our mind to it.
You should still seek help from a friend/family/doctor who can support you.
